The 1938 Wireless World supplement contains the data for a wide range of manufacturers valves sorted and listed by valve type and then by manufacturer. There is no index of devices so you may need to look through a few pages, especially if you do not know the device function.
The 1940 Wireless World supplement contains the data for a smaller range of manufacturers, and is sorted by manufacturer in the form of mulit-page advertisments. The manufacturers have sorted their data own into various sections. Again there is no index of devices, but with only three or four pages per manufacturer it should not take too long to find the device you are looking for.
