B.K. Partners Ltd., were Electro-Acoustic Consultants based at 229 Regent Street, London. During the 1950s and early 1960s they sold audio equipment from various manufactures in addition to their own speaker enclosures fitted with Wharfedale drivers. Between 1957 and 1960 they produced five high fidelity amplifiers including the two featured on this page - the A205 stereo power amplifier and P205 stereo control unit.

The A205 amplifier and P205 control unit were sold as a pair between 1959 to 1960. The amplifier had a meager output of 5 watts per channel using ECL82 in ultra-linear mode. Harmonic distortion was quite low, less than 0.2% and frequency response was quoted as 30Hz-25kHz ±1dB.

The P205 stereo control unit provided inputs for aux (120mV), mic (20mV), pickup (3mV and 120mV) and radio (120mV) and featured controls for input select, bass, treble, presence, rumble and volume.

Both units were sold as a pair for £42. 10s. today, due to its very low output and low profile I'd estimate the value at between £50 and £120 for a clean, working set.
