Kerr McCosh DS1 stereo control unit and CWA 10 mono power amplifiers (1962) | ||
The CWA-10 was a 10-watt mono amplifier with high quality transformers and components. The DS1 stereo preamplifier was originally designed to be used with a pair of CWA-10s, but later was partnered with the larger CWA-40, (40 watt mono-block) which was created two years later in 1964. Both the DS1 and CWA-40 remained in production until 1971, after which Kerr McCosh seemed to disappear from the Hi-Fi scene. Prices when new: Approximate current value (depending on condition):
