The Pilot SA-264 was Pilot's ultimate stereo tube power amplifier and was an upgraded version of the SA-260. Equipped with the new 7591 output tubes and solid-state rectifiers, the SA-264 out-performed its predecessor with 30 watts per channel at less than 0.2% harmonic distortion at mid frequencies and less than 0.5% over 20-20,000 cps.

Output impedances were provided at 4, 8 and 16 ohms along with a 'Stereo-plus' centre speaker output.

Price when new was $179.50. Today, SA-264s are fetching between $450 (in fair to average condition) to over $800 for an excellent or restored example.
