The precursor to the STA-25, the STA-15 was a 15 watt per channel stereo power amplifier using EL34s in ultra-linear configuration and a distortion figure of 0.05% (less than 1% at full rated power from 25 - 25,000c/s).

Intended for use with Radford's SC-2 or SC-3 stereo control units, the STA-15 sold for £38. 10s and in kit form for £31.

Seldom seen for sale today, current value would be somewhere in the vicinity of £300-400. Recently (July 2006) a magnificent STA-15 with a matching SC22 preamp sold at internet auction for £600.
